ANTELOPE, Calif. — People who want a practical introduction to everyday technology can attend a beginner-oriented session at North Highlands–Antelope Library on Saturday, November 14, 2026. The monthly computer skills class is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to noon at 4235 Antelope Road.
Three skills in one workshop
Sacramento Public Library describes a hands-on program covering how to start using a computer, navigate with a mouse and keyboard and manage desktop files. The class also introduces web browsing and internet safety, then moves to email basics, including creating an account and sending and receiving messages.
The intended audience is beginners or people seeking a refresher. The listing does not specify a requirement to own a laptop or guarantee individual devices will be provided; anyone with equipment or accessibility questions should contact the library before arriving.
Why it matters
Routine tasks such as communicating with employers, booking services or filling out online forms can be difficult without basic digital confidence. This session offers residents a chance to learn foundational tasks in a public setting. The library also offers computers and other resources that may help participants practice afterward during branch hours.
When: Saturday, November 14, 10:30 a.m.–noon. Where: North Highlands–Antelope Library, 4235 Antelope Road, Antelope.
