Antelope Library Plans Adult Social Gaming Afternoon November 7

ANTELOPE, Calif. — Adults looking for an in-person social activity can join a board-game gathering on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at North Highlands–Antelope Library. The library’s Adult Social Gaming program is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. in the meeting room at 4235 Antelope Road.

Games and conversation

Sacramento Public Library says it will provide games and refreshments, while participants bring conversation and an interest in trying something new. Options named in the event description include Scrabble, Monopoly, Qwirkle, dominoes and Ticket to Ride, among others. Visitors are also welcome to bring a favorite casual game to share.

All experience levels are welcome. The activity appears on the branch calendar as a first-Saturday-of-the-month gathering and is categorized for adults and older adults. A complete inventory of games is not guaranteed, and people should check the event listing if they are visiting specifically to play a particular title.

Why a local game afternoon matters

Community-oriented activities create ways to meet neighbors without the cost of a commercial entertainment venue. The event may be particularly useful for adults new to Antelope or those looking for a regular activity. It is not an organized competitive tournament and the library does not list prizes.

When: Saturday, November 7, 2–5 p.m. Where: North Highlands–Antelope Library.
