Antelope Library Schedules ASL and English Story & Play for Families November 13

ANTELOPE, Calif. — A bilingual early-learning program on Friday, November 13, 2026, will bring American Sign Language and spoken English together for young children and their caregivers. Sacramento Public Library lists ASL Story & Play from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at its North Highlands–Antelope branch.

Designed for Deaf and hearing children

The library says the gathering includes stories, songs, rhymes, movement and play using ASL and spoken English. It is designed for Deaf and hearing children ages 0–5 and the adults accompanying them, with an emphasis on early literacy, language development and social interaction.

The event is intended to give families opportunities to connect with the Deaf community and learn together. The official description does not specify a registration requirement or whether separate interpretation arrangements are available for other languages; check directly with the library if accommodations are needed.

Practical details for parents

The program takes place at 4235 Antelope Road in the Antelope community. Caregivers can use the branch’s event calendar to check for changes and explore related early-childhood sessions. The gathering is an educational activity, not supervised childcare, so children should be accompanied by a caregiver.

When: Friday, November 13, 10:30–11:30 a.m. Where: North Highlands–Antelope Library.
